Poem Before Sunset

Heady nights roll by unsung
But you are a rare day bird
In mellow afternoon, in semi dark rooms
The mask of your perfumed neck, of a supple frame against me
Unleash a tremor inside
Dazed moments of undefined love, raindrops  in a parched heartland
Ignites a journey of life, of lust and longing that lasts beyond seasons
Of humble priceless wishes, to keep basking in your fragrance
